WE HAVE A HEART CONDITION

We are a ministry, located in the HEART of Midtown Kansas City Missouri, with a HEART for the community we live in and serve, by offering the HEART of God is all we do. Formerly, the historical Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church, after undergoing the name change to Kingdom Word Ministries under the leading of the Holy Spirit, we celebrate traditions as well as welcomed new methods, BUT, the message is the same. JESUS IS LORD.
Kingdom Word Ministries' focus falls under 3 categories: FAMILY, EVANGELISM and EDUCATION. We have continued our partnerships in the community by offering Annual Back to School Rally's while building community alliances with the Concerned Clery Alliance and Central High School by offering mentorship weekly to the student body. The work of the ministry is ever evolving and non-stop. We live by our mission to TAKE A HEALING CHRIST TO EMPOWER A HURTING COMMUNITY. There are no limits to ministry when led by the Holy Spirit and that is just what we will continue to do.
